The Competitive Matchmaking Beta Pass cannot normaly be renamed or redescribed.

This was only possible because the "Competitive Matchmaking Beta Invite", the thing that you used to give other people the beta pass, was able to be renamed/redescribed. So renaming or redescribing the Invite item, it would carry over the custom name and description.
